All participants completing a 100 hour yoga training course are eligible to apply for 200 Hour Yoga TTC which is an internationally recognized yoga teacher certification and designation.

What is the Dress Code for the yoga class?
White colour clothes are recommended for Opening and Closing ceremony. During the classes or within the premises and when you are out in Rishikesh please ware clothes that cover your knees and shoulders, This might be different from your home country, but it is important to be respectful of Indian culture when you visit us. In the Yogshala, it is fine to wear a tank top, but please cover your belly. (NO SPORTS BRA)
Do I need to bring Yoga Mat?
Yes, it’s better to bring your yoga mat. In case you forget or misplace it you can buy it from the market nearby.
I am pregnant, Can I attend the course?
No, the course is too intense for pregnant women to complete.
When do we have Free time?
You’ll have some breaks during your daily schedule. Wednesday will be a half day where after lunch there will be no class and Sunday is a free day as there are no classes, so you’ll have more time to explore.
If I want to skip the class can I do that?
We want you to attend every class as it’s important for you, so you don’t get left behind. In case of an emergency, yes you can skip the class but you’ll have to inform the teacher about it before the class.
Can I attend the same course with my partner?
Yes, it is possible to attend the TTC with your partner. I never did yoga. Will it be too advanced for me to attend the TTC? The YTTC is suitable for everyone; we prepare separate batches according to the course you applied for, as we are committed to teaching you from the very root of yoga thru all aspects, so the experience is not necessary.
Are the teachers well qualified?
All teachers in Atharvyogshala are highly qualified and certified registered form the organizing authorities, with years of experience in practicing yoga. Will language be my barrier as English is not my first language? Absolutely no, all students are coming from different parts of the world, so English is likely the second language they spoke. The courses are very easy to understand and the teachers will help you with everything.
Do I have to read any books?
Yes, there are a few books that you’ll have to read Yoduring your course. is it your choice to start before your arrival or once you are at the school?
Arrival & Departure
One should arrive one day before the course start. On the Second day at 9:00 am, the Course will start with a yoga ritual. On the last day of the course, the graduation ceremony will take place and it finishes by 01:00 pm, therefore, departure should be planned on the last day of the course.

I am vegan, does the food you are serving is suitable for vegans?
Food served at our Yogshala is 100% vegetarian, not vegan. If you have a special diet or any kind of health issue then you need to inform us before your arrival so our chef can prepare food for you.

There is a pure filtered water facility available for students 24/7, free of charge. Can we use phones at school?

What if I get sick during my course?
If you are sick, injured, or in need of medical assistance, we will provide you with medical care or take you to the best hospital . We do not cover your medical bills. That is why we highly recommend that you get travel insurance.
Do I have to worry about Malaria?
In Pokhara, there is a very low risk of one’s having malaria. So you shouldn’t worry about taking any vaccination, if you want you can bring mosquito repellents, lotions, etc
Do I have to be very careful about eating food outside?
Eating outside in Pokhara is pretty safe though you should beware of eating street food unless your stomach is sensitive. at the same time advise you not to eat outside during the course because what you eat during the course is scheduled as per your classes and daily routine.

Is it possible to make any changes in the bookings after I made it?
In case of any personal issues, we can delay the dates of your course. The advance of the course fees are non-refundable, in the case of an emergency, students can join us on other schedules.
Can I use my credit card to pay any remaining course fee in Pokhara?
We accept online and credit card payments for booking amounts. The remaining fees can be paid either in cash or by bank transfer. If you opt to pay your remaining fees by credit card then an additional 1.75% will be charged as a transaction fee. You can also use your ATM debit cards (Master/Visa/Electron) to withdraw cash from ATMs in Pokhara
How much do I need to pay for Food & Accommodation?
You don’t need to pay extra money as our course fees include food and accommodation. You’ll be provided with a private or shared room as per your application with all the basic amenities like an attached bathroom, 24 hours water supply, water heater, bathing shower, Wardrobe, and other school needs.
What if I choose to stay for a few more days?
In that case, you can happily stay with us. The additional amount of 15 USD per night (which included food) will be charged.

Which kind of visa do I need to apply for?
You should apply for a tourist visa as it is easy and granted by the Nepal embassy in a short period, the purpose of visiting Pokhara should be yoga retreats or Ayurveda retreats. Students may give our school address as well as a contact number for Nepali reference. Contact details for the Nepal embassy in your country can be found. In general order, the visa expiry date is counted from the day visa is issued. Please verify it with the concerned embassy. To avoid a last-moment mess try to apply for your visa at least 2 to 3 weeks before your travel date.
What should I bring with me?
Most of the general items you will need during your stay in India can be easily found in the nearby shops or the Pokhara market. What we suggest you bring is any specialty item that you can’t live without, like a specific personal care item or favourite snack from your country.
Is there any post nearby?
Yes
